Spread the love
NABADO

simply amazing, always for you.

A cozy park in their small town, with the sun setting and casting a golden glow over everything. The air is warm, filled with the sounds of laughter and the distant music of a local festival.

Characters:

  • Moraa: A dreamy, idealistic girl who believes in true love and is deeply infatuated with Okemwa.
  • Okemwa: A charming, easy-going boy who enjoys flirting and dating but struggles with deeper feelings.

Moraa: (swinging her legs from the park bench, watching the sunset) Isn’t this beautiful? The way the sky changes colors… it feels magical, doesn’t it?

Okemwa: (leaning back, hands behind his head) Yeah, it’s pretty nice. But you know, it’s more about who you’re with, right? I could be anywhere and still enjoy it.

Moraa: (smiling, slightly hopeful) Exactly! And I’m really glad I’m here with you. I just love spending time together.

Okemwa: (grinning) Same here! You’re fun to hang out with, Moraa. Always have the best ideas for our adventures.

Moraa: (leaning forward, her excitement bubbling) Speaking of adventures, remember that time we got lost on the hiking trail? I thought we were going to end up in a totally different place!

Okemwa: (laughing) Yeah! And I was all like, “Don’t worry, I got this,” while you were convinced we’d end up in a survival situation. You were so dramatic!

Moraa: (rolling her eyes playfully) I was just being realistic! But it turned into one of my favorite memories. Just us against the world.

Okemwa: (nudging her playfully) You’re such a dork. But a cute one.

Moraa: (blushing) Thanks. You know, I’ve been thinking… we’ve had so many great moments together. It kind of feels like… like we have something special, don’t you think?

Okemwa: (pausing, then chuckling lightly) I mean, sure, we’re close. I like hanging out. But you know how it is, right? We’re just having fun.

Moraa: (biting her lip, feeling a pang of disappointment) Right… just fun. But I guess I was hoping for something a bit more than that.

Okemwa: (glancing sideways at her, sensing her shift in mood) Moraa, come on. You know I’m a lover boy. I like to keep things light. Why complicate it?

Moraa: (sighing, feeling vulnerable) I guess I just want to know if you see me as more than just a friend. Sometimes it feels like I’m falling for you, and I’m not sure if you feel the same way.

Okemwa: (sitting up straight, a bit more serious) Look, I don’t want to hurt you. You’re amazing, and I really like you. But I’m not ready for anything serious. I just… I like to keep my options open, you know?

Moraa: (heart sinking, trying to mask her disappointment) So, what you’re saying is that I’m just one of those options?

Okemwa: (scratching the back of his head) Not just an option! You’re special to me, Moraa. I just… I don’t want to label things. Labels can ruin everything.

Moraa: (voice trembling slightly) But labels can also mean commitment. It can mean you care enough to want to be exclusive.

Okemwa: (looking down, then meeting her eyes) I get it. I really do. But you have to understand, I’m young. There’s so much I want to experience.

Moraa: (sniffling, brushing a tear away) I know you’re young, Okemwa. But love isn’t just about age. It’s about connection. And I feel like we have that.

Okemwa: (hesitating) Emily, you’re incredible. Seriously. You deserve someone who can give you what you want.

Moraa: (heart aching) And I want that someone to be you. Can’t we at least try?

Okemwa: (sighing, conflicted) I don’t want to lead you on. If I say yes, and then I can’t give you what you want…

Moraa: (taking a deep breath, steadying herself) What if we just take it slow? We don’t have to rush into anything. Just… see where this goes?

Okemwa: (considering her words) I guess that could work. But I don’t want you to get hurt. I’m just… not ready for the whole serious thing.

Moraa: (nodding, feeling a flicker of hope) I understand. We can keep it light, but I just need to know there’s a possibility for more.

Okemwa: (softening, reaching out to touch her hand) Okay. I can do that. Just know that I care about you, even if I’m not ready for all the serious stuff yet.

Moraa: (smiling through her tears) That means a lot. I just want you to know that I’m here, no matter what.

Okemwa: (grinning) And I appreciate that, Moraa. You make everything more fun.

Moraa: (playfully nudging him) You’re lucky I’m so forgiving!

Okemwa: (laughing) Lucky? More like blessed! So, what’s next for us?

Moraa: How about we make a list of all the things we want to do together this summer?

Okemwa: (eyes sparkling) Now that sounds like a plan! I’m in.

Moraa: (taking out her phone) Okay! Let’s start brainstorming… how about a road trip? Just us, some music, and the open road?

Okemwa: (smirking) As long as you promise not to sing the whole time.

Moraa: (laughing) No promises! But seriously, I can’t wait to make more memories with you.

Okemwa: (smiling back at her) Me too. And who knows? Maybe this summer will change everything.

Moraa: (eyes shining with hope) I really hope it does.

Okemwa: (leaning back, a more serious look on his face) Just remember, whatever happens, I’m glad you’re in my life.

Moraa: (blushing again) Same here. No matter what, you’ll always be my favorite adventure.

Okemwa: (winking) And you’ll always be mine.

(As the sun dips below the horizon, the two of them sit in comfortable silence, their hearts full of unspoken promises, both excited and scared for what the future might hold.)

THANK YOU BE BLESSED
