simply amazing, always for you.

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has confirmed that the highly anticipated results for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams will be made public in the second week of January 2025. The announcement came during the Omogusii Cultural Festival held at Kenyoro School Grounds in North Mugirango, Nyamira County.

Ogamba reassured the public that the Ministry of Education is adhering to the traditional January timeline for the release of KCSE results. This year, the exams saw a record 965,501 candidates sitting for the papers across 10,755 centers, reflecting a significant increase in the number of students undertaking the national exams.

The marking of the exams, which began shortly after the completion of the last paper on December 13, 2024, has concluded, with marking centers spread across the country. The process involved a large number of examiners working diligently to ensure accuracy and fairness in the grading system.

While the results are traditionally released within a few weeks of the exam completion, Ogamba cited the sheer volume of candidates as the main reason for the slight delay. The Ministry of Education has committed to ensuring that all results are thoroughly verified, with the aim of maintaining the integrity of the examination process. This includes addressing any concerns over possible discrepancies or cases of malpractice.

Candidates and the general public are urged to stay tuned for further updates through official communication channels as the second week of January approaches. The Ministry of Education has promised that the results will be available shortly, allowing students to begin planning for their next academic steps or career paths.
